Job Details: Joining a professional, personable team in the practice, you'll deliver exceptional care by going beyond consulting to listen and empathising, putting patients and clients first, always.

As well as your day to day duties within practice caring for your patients and clients, you will have the drive and ambition to develop the practice optimising the client and patient experience, promoting safety while training, developing and leading the nursing team. You'll also be proactive in maintaining your own professional and clinical skills, carry out accurate and timely reporting and explore ways that the practice can further develop their standards.

As a RCVS Registered Veterinary Nurse, you'll already have good knowledge of how a dynamic, practice runs efficiently and effectively. Sharing the practice values being trustworthy, caring and progressive, you'll also take the initiative in patient welfare and have caring, thoughtful communication skills. Just as important are the leadership skills essential to enabling your team to work as one and look ahead to see how they can be even better.

This is a small, extremely busy clinic, 30 minutes from Cardiff, one vet practice with scope for expansion. It has a very busy client base and would suit someone stepping into HVN role and is looking to improve their leadership skills and bring new ideas to the clinic.

You will work 40 hours a week including weekends and excluding lunch on varied early, middle or late shifts. 1:4 Saturday half day and 1:6 weekends in a different clinic. On Call 2-3 Bank Holidays per year 

Skills and Experience: The ideal person will be a qualified RCVS registered RVN, clinical coach desirable and have the ability to lead a small support team of two people.
