Type of Work: Imaging Vet Surgeon

Job Details: Our client in Yorkshire are currently recruiting for an Imaging Vet to join the team and co-manage the CT suite and mobile MRI. The role will primarily involve inpatient work ups - carrying out advanced ultrasounds, performing CT and MRI scans, making an initial clinical assessment and differential diagnosis list for a vast range and number of cases. 

  • Full-time position
  • 4 days per week
  • 1 in 6 full weekends

You will have the benefit of external support, as the CT images are sent to the knowledgeable team at Vet CT for a full diagnostic report – an excellent learning tool to enhance your knowledge. You will have a keen interest in advanced imaging and ultrasound and hold a certificate or be working towards one.

Ideally, they would like the successful candidate to join as soon as possible, training will be provided as required.

Skills and Experience: As a qualified MRCVS, you’ll already have good experience gained in small animal practice.  You will also display good communication skills and the desire to share your knowledge and skills by being an outstanding, positive example to others.
