Job Details: Our client in Yorkshire are looking for a Vet Nurse to join their team. They are a busy small animal, two branch practice covering North and South Sheffield. The role will include a mixture of both consult and theatre work, and client communication. There are no out of hours attached to this post. Work/life balance is very important to them and therefore they can even accommodate for part-time hours including shifts from 10am – 2pm. You will work closely alongside their receptionist team to deliver a first-class customer service experience. The ideal candidate should be committed to providing exceptional patient treatment and care.

  • Full time or part time applications considered
  • 1 in 6 Saturdays 
  • No Sundays
  • No OOH

They are looking for a new registered nurse we can accommodate full time or part time work, they would like to offer a good work/home life balance.

  • Nurse consults - 2nd vaccinations, clip claws, anal gland expressions, microchipping, senior clinics, dental clinics, weight clinic, blood pressure measurements, admit of patients, discharge of patients, dressing changes
  • Theatre - blood sampling, IV catheter placement, monitoring anaesthesia, radiography, laboratory work (running blood samples and urine analysis), dental radiography, nurse led stage 1 dentals, blood pressure measurement
  • Inpatient care - administering medication, updating patient records
  • Recovering patients - recovery of patients post general anaesthetic
  • Cleaning duties
  • Admin duties

Requirements: You will need to be a registered veterinary nurse. Happy to support a newly qualified nurses. The ideal candidate should be committed to providing exceptional patient treatment and care, with good communication skills.
