Job Details: Our client in North Wales are looking for a Veterinary Surgeon to join their friendly and supportive team. They would ideally like someone on a full time basis however they are extremely flexible with working hours and can accommodate applicants looking for part time hours. 

  • Permanent full-time and/or Part-time
  • Full time hours are worked across 4.5 days per week (shifts between 8:30am and 6:30pm) plus weekends
  • Night out of hours on rotation of 1 in 7 weeknights and 1 in 4 weekends which consists of Saturday morning in practice 8:30am – 12:30pm, plus on Saturday afternoon/night on call with Sunday off or a full weekend on call depending on the rota

This position is open to vet surgeons of all experiences and you will be joining a well established and experienced team including several certificate holders. There is an opportunity to focus on any special interests as good CPD is offered and several vets have progressed through certificates with them. They enjoy supporting and bringing on new graduates but would equally welcome someone more established.

The location of the practice is well situated for those who enjoy the more rural side of life, with plenty of countryside and hill walk areas, beaches and lakes for wild swimming.

Essential: 

  • You will be confident and professional with the ability to work seamlessly alongside their practice teams to provide a quality experience for clients and pets alike.
  • You will need to be RCVS registered.
  • Have strong communication skills and have the ability to work well in a team
  • Be comfortable to work sole charge (only at weekends and out of hours with backup always available)
