Job Details: Our client is looking for a Veterinary Surgeon to join their friendly small animal practice. Duties for a Veterinary Surgeon include but are not limited to consultations and first opinion surgery.   They are keen to work up their cases as thoroughly as possible and have the support of experienced team of RVNs to help with this.  The RVNs also carry out a wide variety of nursing clinics to compliment the veterinary team.  They also have a team of Receptionists to provide a friendly welcoming face to their clients.

They are a well-equipped small friendly practice who love learning and teaching, established for 62 years on their current site they really are part of the community. Sharing all their knowledge is something they love to do, your opinion and input matters to us. They live and breathe by their unique team approach, and they thrive with that ethos. Large numbers of their clients have been registered with them for many years and these long-term relationships are key to their success and always remain important to us, they truly believe in a cradle to grave relationship with their clients. 

The role if full time would be 40 hours per week spread over 4 days with 1 in 3 Saturdays, though they are happy to consider other work patterns and job shares. No OOH work required.

They are looking for a warm, friendly Veterinary Surgeon who would like to offer care that fits with their ethos. The successful candidate will be capable and confident in all routine surgery and medical cases.  They are looking for someone with great communication skills - both with clients and the rest of the team.  There is very much the opportunity to develop the role to suit you, they encourage CPD and for you to develop your own areas of interest. They will also consider new graduates.

A car driver is ideal as there will be driving necessary between their three branches.
