Job Details: Our client is looking for an experienced small animal Veterinary Surgeon to join their well-established team. At Copeland vets they offer a varied caseload allowing their vets access to surgical cases every day, they also strongly believe in case continuity, ensuring you can see things through for your patients from start to finish. They want you to have enough time with your clients and to enable them to do this they ensure consults are a minimum of 15 minutes. It is important to them that you are happy at work, but equally important to them to provide you with a work life balance, so they work to a 4-day week between the hours of 8.30am and 7pm, with 1:4 Saturday mornings working from 8am – 12pm. There are no OOH requirements.

The award-winning facilities are fully equipped with digital x-ray, orthopaedic kit, dental suite, doppler ultrasound, endoscope, PRP and Stem Cell Therapy equipment and hydrotherapy suite. 

They are conveniently located near the beautiful North York Moors, Captain cooks monument, Roseberry topping and the Cleveland hills, a beautiful coastline with the best beaches and fish & chips. They are situated in the middle of Ingleby Barwick which is Europe’s largest private housing estate. There are lots of local restaurants to eat out at, and there’s the Globe Theatre a grade 2 Art Deco Playhouse which plays host to comedians, musical theatre and bands. They also have access to great train links direct to Edinburgh, Newcastle, York, Leeds & London.

They're a 3.5 vet team one of who is in the final stages of securing a medicine certificate, they also have 6 qualified RVN’s and additional support staff. They're a happy bunch and are actively encouraged to pursue their own areas of interest. CPD is encouraged and will always be funded for those wishing to expand their knowledge and skills.

 

 

They are looking for a RCVS registered Veterinary Surgeon who demonstrates previous experience in a clinical setting. Communication skills are key for us, so you'll provide a high level of service to clients, as well as your patients. You'll also be a team player - they're looking for someone who shares their values and goals.
