Job Details: Are you ready to join a independent, family owned practice celebrating their tenth anniversary this year? It is a high regarded, friendly, welcoming practice with a reputation for fixing problems.

One of the owners has over 20 years of Veterinary experience and has interests in Orthopaedics and the other owner is the Practice Manager, who has a degree in HRM and ensures everyone who needs it gets their morning tea or coffee. The team are highly valued, appreciated, and respected. Monthly meetings (with lunch & cake) are used to discuss ideas, cases etc with annual one-to-one meetings to support personal CPD and career aspirations. Team nights out bowling, BBQs, trips to Crufts, or just a dog walk on the weekend are regular occurrences.

The recently refurbished practice incorporates 2 Vet consult rooms, 1 Nurse consult room, with large prep area, open plan kennel and cattery, and a large staff room. Our Clients take full advantage of their large garden and have their own staff car park. Tea, coffee, squash, and fresh fruit are always available. The practice is situated in a small village parade of shops that include Tesco Express, Pharmacy, Post Office, Hairdressers, Sandwich Shop, and a Fish & Chip Shop.

Newly replaced practice equipment includes, new ultrasound laptop, rigid endoscope, dental machine, operating theatre light, top of the range incubator which includes an oxygen chamber and nebuliser for dyspneic and neonate patients. As well as having a digital x-ray processor, plus the usual accoutrements. Our Client are happy to invest in further equipment to support specific interests and skills. 

The practice opening hours are Monday Friday 08:30 - 18:30, Saturdays 9am-12pm with no On Call or OOHs. Full or Part-Time hours available and a work/life balance is actively encouraged!

Skills: Must be a confident and experienced Vet registered with the RCVS.
