Job Details: Our client is looking for a registered Veterinary Surgeon to join the team! The role will involve a mix of surgical and consulting shifts. You will be working with at least two other Veterinary Surgeons on all the shifts.

The rota will involve working 39 hours per week over 4 days. They are very flexible when it comes to shift patterns. The role will also include working 1 in 3 weekends. There are no out of hours with this role.

The salary will be up to 70,000 depending on experience. They are located 15 minutes from Dublin city centre and are a fully equipped hospital with everything needed to perform the highest quality of medicine and surgery. The equipment includes full Wolf laparoscopy kit, flexible endoscopy, electrosurgey units, full ortho kits, and much more. They pride themselves on their teamwork and their patient-first approach.

They currently have 9 Veterinary Surgeons, 9 Registered Veterinary Nurses, 2 Animal Care Assistants, and 4 Receptionists. Each team member has their own area of interest including ortho, imaging, exotics, etc so there’s always someone to bounce ideas off. If you enjoy a busy and varied caseload, top-quality first opinion medicine, a patient-focused approach, and teamwork they would love to hear from you!

Ideally you would be able to hit the ground running in relation to managing medical cases and performing a good level of surgery. They are looking for a VCI registered Veterinary Surgeon who demonstrates excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
