Job Details: Our client is looking for a Veterinary Surgeon with an interest in Imaging to join their friendly, passionate, 6 Vet team. This is a unique opportunity for a Vet Surgeon who demonstrates previous experience with or an interest in pursuing further studies in Imaging.

The days are split between consulting, surgeries and ECC. They do also have an ambulance service for conducting home visits. Preventative health care and high standards of care at all times are two things that they strongly believe in, and they actively encourage professional development. Throughout their group sites they have a certificate holder in surgery and another vet working towards attaining theirs, and pride themselves on excellent preventative care.

Being based in a busy seaside town, they have many fantastic, bonded clients who have visited them for many years.

They offer a good work/life balance rota:

•                     Four days per week

•                     OOH’s including one night every two weeks, and one weekend in 3 months

•                     1 in 3 Saturdays mornings

This clinic is well established and runs out of a stunning grade II listed, character building. They have superb equipment across their three sites including ultrasound, digital and dental x-ray, dental machine. The in house Lab machines are idexx catalyst and procyte.

The caseload includes caring for Small animals, Small furries and wildlife including even the odd seal! They are also very proud to be working with local charities and rescues. They were established 70 years ago and are a dedicated Veterinary Group offering care across East Yorkshire.

There is so much to do and enjoy in your spare time in and around the area. They are also just a short commute or train ride from many major cities such as; Hull, York and Leeds.

The team consists of 6 knowledgeable Vets, 7 experienced RVNs, 2 dedicated Nursing assistants as well as a fantastic, friendly client care team. They have an array of experience levels within their team as well as some long serving team members who have been with them for 10, 15 and even 20 years, including more than a few who have left for various reasons and then returned at a later date.

They understand joining a new team can sometimes be a little daunting but here you will be made to feel very welcome! They pride themselves on having a friendly welcoming team in and out of work. The team often socialize outside of work, and take part in team bonding. The team in their spare time can often be found attending local quizzes, running charity marathons or even trying to crack escape rooms!

They are ideally looking for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon with an interest in Imaging to join their team. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team are essential for this role. They are open to full and part time applications, and can offer support for a Vet Surgeon who is able to conduct consultations unaided but would like support with building confidence with more advanced surgeries.

Due to their array of modern equipment and keen drive to encourage personal development, they make a great work place for a candidate wishing to study towards a certificate. You will demonstrate an interest in sharing your knowledge and support others within the team too. You will be looking to join a team who enjoy discussing cases and work together to provide the best possible care.
