Job Details: Our client is looking for a full/part time small animal Veterinary Surgeon to join their team in St Andrews. They are a general first opinion practice and the role would involve a mixture of medical and surgical cases. The caseload can be managed depending on individual interests and skills. Typical caseloads include dentistry, general soft tissue surgery such as routine neutering, lump removals, some amputations and diagnostic imaging and occasional orthopaedics.

They are located in the beautiful seaside town of St Andrews with 2 branches in the local area. The practice is purpose-built and well-equipped with high standard facilities including 2 surgical theatres, dental suite, digital and dental x-ray, endoscopy, tonopen, new Imotek ultrasound machine and in-house lab. They have separate dog, cat and isolation wards and are proud to be a Cat Friendly Clinic. The current team consists of 6 vets, 6 nurses and 6 receptionists.

St. Andrews is a seaside town northeast of Edinburgh, on Scotland’s east coast. It's known for its many golf courses, including the Old Course. Its also known for its historic university, medieval streets and gorgeous traditional buildings. The town is filled with exciting things to see and do, from St Andrews Cathedral to nearby Scotland’s Secret Bunker, so you won’t be short on places to visit. Located half an hour from Dundee and less than two hours from Edinburgh & Glasgow.

Rota: Working 40 hours per week – Full time – flexible on part time hours No OOH 1:5 Saturdays 8:30am – 5pm – with a day off in lieu
