Job Details: Our client is looking for a Veterinary Surgeon to join their team! They are a busy first opinion 3 practice group requiring an enthusiastic new team member to join their team. They offer a high level of service to their clients including full medical workups, soft tissue and orthopaedic surgeries. The full time vets work a 40 hour week over 4 days, between the hours of 8.30am and 6.30pm plus 1 in 5 Saturdays however, they are very flexible and happy to discuss other shift patterns whether that be Full or part time for the right candidate, please also note there is no out of hours work required. 

The main premises were purpose built in 2017 and provide a well designed spacious and functional working environment with 4 consult rooms. They have large operating, X-ray and hydrotherapy suites, separate cat and dog wards, a huge prep-room plus a separate pharmacy. They have a comprehensive range of toys including their own In house lab, digital X-ray, dental X-ray, Doppler ultrasound, multiparameter anaesthetic monitor plus an extensive range of soft tissue and orthopaedic equipment. The warm, friendly, team consists of 7 vets and 4 RVN’s plus their excellent support team and Practice Manager, who all enjoy some down time in their large upstairs staff room complete with Nespresso coffee machine. They have a high proportion of insured clients allowing comprehensive work ups also enabling them to offer their clients a high level, all round, supportive service. They have a highly experienced and stable team with their vets having 5 - 25 years’ experience in first opinion practice. The new team member will have the ability to work up and follow through their own cases, however there is plenty of support if required. They encourage both CPD and study toward a GP Certificate.

They are looking for an enthusiastic, caring Veterinary Surgeon who wishes to work as part of an experienced, supportive team. Experience in first opinion small animal practice is essential plus the ability to work sole charge on occasion. The clients and patients expect the highest possible standard of care from them which they go out their way to provide.
