As a mixed vet you would take part in a one in five rota, with a generous allowance for time off and long weekends.

If you are a small animal only vet, you will enjoy no on call and one in four Saturday mornings, with a generous allowance for time off and long weekends.

They are a friendly, traditional, 6 Veterinary Surgeon, 1 Registered Veterinary Nurse, 5 experienced Auxiliary Nurses and three receptionist practice. A great work/life balance is hugely important to them and they make sure that a varied and interesting case load goes hand in hand with time away to enjoy the other things in life.

They are located in a beautiful market town in North Yorkshire, with great access to the Yorkshire Dales, the North York Moors, the Howardian Hills, the City of York and Harrogate. Local transport links include the A1 and A1M. Due to expansion they are currently refurbishing their premises to include additional consulting space.

They are looking for a conscientious Veterinary Surgeon who possesses excellent communication skills and team-working abilities.
