Job Details: Our client in Victoria are seeking an experienced Vet to join their super team! Here are some of the key details about this role;

  • 4 day week with rotational on call (currently 1 in 7)
  • You will be working with 3-4 vets each day meaning lots of support from your colleagues & the opportunity to collaborate

This is a close-knit friendly team who value family & a good social life. They have a mix of experience levels from Graduates to 20+ years. Their vets are passionate & dedicated with a variety of special interests. This clinic will encourage & support you if you have ambitions to explore your own area of interest. The workload is typical of a regional practice in that it is varied & at times interesting. They have a fantastic growing client base who want them to do the best for their pets.

A specialist surgeon visits the clinic each fortnight & they also have regular visits from other specialists meaning they can always offer best standard care. A grooming service is also available on site from Monday to Thursday. The clinic is very well equipped with all the tools & toys you need to do your best work. They are supported by a fantastic Practice Manager as well as supportive & professional reception staff. The nurses are a fun bunch who are well trained, organised & eager to support you.

This clinic are looking for veterinarians who ideally would like to come & work with them full time. They offer a 4 day week, and they all cover an equal share of the afterhours (currently 1 in 7). However, if your availability differs from the above, we’d still love to speak with you. They can also offer the opportunity of a mixed practice role if that suits you better. 
 
Essentially, they are looking for veterinarians that would be a good fit for our dynamic team. The ideal candidates will be friendly with good communication skills & be able to work both independently as well as part of a team. This clinic is based in a vibrant, dynamic city and a great choice for those considering making the change from big city lifestyle to regional living. This position combines being part of a high quality companion animal service with the lifestyle of a medium sized rural town, with the added benefit of sea-side proximity.
