Type of Work: Small Animal Vet Surgeon

Job Details: Our client is looking for a veterinary surgeon to join their team. They are looking for a night vet to join their team and help run a busy out of hours service for their own 6 branches and 14 local user practices. The ideal candidate will have good communication and confident surgery skills, which are essential to look after their clients and maintain good relationships with their user practices. They encourage and support their colleagues to advance further and you will be given plenty of support, however, this is a fantastic opportunity for someone with more experience too, and who may wish to commence study for a certificate.

The RCVS accredited hospital has a fully equipped lab, and diagnostic facilities including onsite CT, digital x-ray, ultrasound, dental X-ray and video endoscopy. They offer a range of services such as TPLO/laparoscopic surgery/physiotherapy/k-laser.

The location has great transport links meaning you are only a short journey away from the countryside, enabling you to get the best of both worlds, city life and the great outdoors!

They have an established track record of developing their vets from new graduates to senior vets.  They are recognised by the RCVS as a graduate development practice and their team contains certificate holders in diagnostic imaging, surgery, and medicine.  They also have several colleagues studying towards certificates including ECC. You should have a minimum of 1-year of experience in ECC work or if you are a confident GP vet, with sole charge experience and looking for your first OOH/ECC role then they are also very interested in hearing from you.
