Type of Work: Small Animal Vet Surgeon

Job Details: Our client is looking for a veterinary surgeon to join their team. They have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join their small and friendly team! Your day would consist of a good mix of consulting and operating, with a collaborative approach to cases, but you would have clinical freedom and scope to work up your own cases too. You would be joining their supportive team at White House Vets, where you will be encouraged to reach your full potential.

They strive for an excellent work-life balance for their staff, the shift pattern would be 4 days per week, working 36 hours across various shifts, including some split shifts. There is a requirement to work 1:3 or 1:4 Saturday mornings but there is no out of hours work. They are happy to consider a part-time role for the right candidate.

They are a busy first opinion small animal practice with a genuine focus on quality care for their patients. They offer a bespoke pet health plan which is popular amongst their loyal client base.
The facilities include ultrasound, digital radiology, laser therapy and an in-house lab. They are a Veterinary Nurse training practice and are currently working towards RCVS accreditation. The practice is located in the Malvern Hills-with easy access to the M5/M50 and good schools, it is a great place to raise a family and walk your four-legged friends!
You will work alongside their valued and hard-working team of 3 Vets, 3 Registered Veterinary Nurses, 1 Animal Nursing Assistant, 2 receptionists and a practice director. They pride themselves on being kind, caring and empathetic to all their patients. The practice closely supports their local RSPCA and participates in fundraising events for other local charities.

They are looking for an experienced Vet who is confident with routine procedures and consultations and has an enthusiasm for surgery. They would like someone who enjoys communicating and building relationships with clients, who is compassionate, caring and aims for high clinical standards. You would be working as part of a team most of the time but should also be confident with some sole charge.
