Salary: $100,000 CAD + depending on experience

Type of Work: Small Animal Associate Veterinarian Job 

Job Details: This practice is an Independent 1 Vet clinic who are looking to expand with a great opportunity for two Vet positions! The clinic has a radiologist visiting the clinic every week/s. The clinic primarily treats dogs and cats, they do have a few exotics but would consider someone wanting to do more exotics.

Not only do they have great clients but they (for the most part) listen to their recommendations and will also go to a specialist if they feel that is appropriate for a particular case. They are within 10 min of a large veterinary referral hospital. They are a child friendly hospital. They have children and understand the importance of being available for their children and family. So we are very flexible with their schedule and cover for one another when they need to.  

Their hospital is a beautiful space in which to work in a really lovely area of Langley that is a walkable community.  They have great shops, brunch/coffee shops. After establishing their hospital they have the ability to choose the clients that are lovely to work with and work with them to help their pets stay well. They do not tolerate any form of abuse from our clients!

Their team is knowledgeable and has a desire to continue to learn and better ourselves. They have regular team building events and they have a wonderful comaraderie that helps us gets through busy days! Regular CE is encourage and paid for.  They are excited to share new things they have learned in vet med!!  And best of all you get to hang out with my sweet Border Collie - She is the sweetest of girls and their hospital is her second home!

What's Needed:

  • Provincial DVM licensing, or eligibility to be licensed

  • A strong desire to educate and build solid relationships with clients
  • Excellent communication skills
