Job Details: This practice is seeking a full-time Veterinarian to join their amazing team! 

This Animal Hospital provides personalized healthcare for your family pets. Their experienced veterinary care team is proud to offer high-quality care and diagnostic technology. Wellness care is the foundation of this clinic; preventative care and early diagnosis help reduce the risk of serious health issues. From annual wellness exams to advanced surgical operations, this Practice provides professional pet services including diagnostic blood work, laser therapy, nutrition counseling, and weight management plans to ensure pets remains healthy and happy. This Animal Hospital is unique in that it offers a relaxed and homey setting that focuses on the whole life of the animals it serves. The hospital prides itself on providing affordable services and treating all pets with love, compassion and respect. They are currently seeking a compassionate full-time Veterinarian with exceptional communication, surgical and dentistry skills, to join its experienced and friendly team. The hospital is passionate about providing the ideal work/life balance with a flexible work schedule and a vibrant work environment. This DVM will be largely responsible for clinical work and will combine clinical expertise, emotional intelligence and utilize a servant leadership mindset to promote excellence in veterinary medicine.

Position Requirements

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) from an educational institute accredited by the Canadian Veterinary Medical Association, or equivalent/comparable veterinary degree with eligibility to obtain a full license to practice in the province of work.
  • 2+ years of experience as a DVM.
  • Proficiency in internal medicine, diagnostics, and preventive care. General surgery and general dentistry is preferred, but not required.
  • Experience developing and implementing standards, procedures and structures to support high quality care and best in class experiences.
  • Proven leadership, communication and problem solving skills.
