Job Details: Our client is looking for an emergency and critical care veterinary surgeon to join their team. They have a first-class facility, multi-disciplinary centre with extensive up-to-date equipment including a full in-house IDEXX lab, digital radiography, ultrasonography, fluoroscope and CT. They have a team of 65 veterinarians, nurses and support staff that work to deliver exceptional veterinary care to the pets of South Australia.

This exciting opportunity to work in ER offers a varied caseload shared among a committed team of emergency veterinarians. You will get access to their specialists and referral Veterinarians in the fields of Medicine, Surgery, Radiology, Cardiology and Dentistry will enhance your work experience.

There is an excellent continuing education program to promote ongoing skill development, and ANZCVS college membership is encouraged.  Several team members have achieved membership of the college and can mentor candidates. Others have progressed to residency programs. As is usual in an emergency centre work on weekends, night and public holidays is shared across the emergency team.

The position would be ideal for a Vet with some experience and a genuine interest in emergency and critical care.  However, recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
