Job Details: Our client is looking for an emergency and critical care veterinary surgeon to join their team. They offer a wide range of specialist services and provide 24-hour emergency and critical care Services offered include internal medicine, surgery, dentistry, oncology, ophthalmology, behavioural medicine, avian and exotics, diagnostic imaging, emergency and critical care, cardiology and physiotherapy.

They are  pleased to offer a new opportunity for an ECC Specialist to join the team at their Adelaide facility. With an ever-increasing caseload and 24/7 emergency veterinarians, additional expertise is required for both clinical case management and mentoring of their emergency team, interns, and nursing staff.

Required attributes
• Eligible for specialist registration in Australia
• OR: board-eligible and residency trained in emergency and critical care
• Willingness to work hard, lead, teach and be part of their team

Desirable attributes for this position
• Willingness to help grow and develop the ECC service
• Willingness to travel to their other locations from time to time
• Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, pet owners and referring veterinarians
• A genuine enjoyment of helping people and their pets when they need them most
