Job Details: Our client are seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Head Veterinary Nurse to join their close knit and dynamic nursing team. They will consider both full time and part time hours, giving the successful candidate a great work-life balance.

To work with them you will need to be eager to get stuck in to all aspects of veterinary nursing, including nurse clinics, anaesthetics and patient care. You must be dedicated and passionate about all things veterinary nurse. Your role will also focus on offering a friendly, efficient and caring service to both  clients and their patients while supporting the veterinary surgeons and support staff to ensure the practice runs smoothly. You will have the opportunity to use your nursing skills to their full potential including theatre work and nurse consults. You will help with the daily running of the practice to ensure a high standard care for Patients and Clients. Nurses are the heart of the practice and perform an integral clinical role in caring for patients. You must be comfortable with leading by example, has great communication and organisation skills and takes pride in working to a high standard. You will have an interest in and want to learn about the practice as a business as well as how to motivate a team to achieve their personal and practice goals. Ideally you will have experience of and enjoy coaching and mentoring student nurses.

Rota: 1 Saturday in 4 with no OOH cover or Sunday work. Bank holidays on a rota basis so everyone works and is fair. There will be a generous CPD allowance for you to focus on areas you love and feel excited about. They have a hardworking and dedicated team who care about each other, having a supportive working environment is a top priority. They are a busy first opinion practice, open Monday to Saturday with varying shifts and Saturdays on a 1 in 4 rota basis with no OOH. They believe in offering a good work life balance and being a good fit within the team is essential.
