Job Details: An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our client's friendly and supportive team in County Fermanagh. No two days are the same, but some day-to-day duties will include: General veterinary nursing duties, including monitoring anaesthetics, nursing sick animals, administrating medicine, taking x-rays, running bloods and nurse consultations.

Our client can consider full time or part time hours for the right candidate. They can be flexible with shift patterns for the right candidate; however, they must be able to cover some evening shifts and out of hours. The successful candidate will work 1 in 4 Saturdays 9am-5pm, then cover on call until Monday morning.

They are a friendly first opinion small animal practice set in the beautiful County Fermanagh. They are RCVS accredited and are well-equipped with a digital x-ray, dental x-ray, ultrasound, inhouse blood machine.

The team is made up of 7 veterinary surgeons, 2 RVN's, 1 student veterinary nurse, 1 nursing assistant and 3 receptionists. They currently have one certificate holder in radiography and encourage their team to continue their development. The ideal candidate will be committed, enthusiastic, and hard-working.

The successful candidate must be a registered Veterinary Nurse who will deliver a high standard care. Candidates must be dedicated to progressing their knowledge and practical skills to ensure they fully support the Vets with a range of potentially complex cases. An experience of nurse consults is also desirable. An experience of nurse consults is also desirable, but not essential as they would consider new graduates.
