Type of Work: Registered Veterinary Nurse

Job Details: Our client are are looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse on a full/part time basis to join their team. This is a first opinion, small animal team that are passionate about providing excellent veterinary care to their patients. 

At this practice, they support and encourage career progression whilst also protecting a positive and happy work/life balance. Ideally our client are looking for someone to work 40 hours per week across 5 days but they would also consider 4 days and part time hours too! There are 1:4 weekends which consists of Saturdays 08:30 - 17:00 working alongside a vet and a receptionist for consults. TOIL for the following Friday so you get a long weekend after your weekend on! The practice are closed on Sundays and there are no OOHs.

Our Client are located in a beautiful seaside town with 2 branches in the local area. The practice is well-equipped with high standard facilities including 2 surgical theatres, dental suite, digital and dental x-ray, endoscopy, Imotek ultrasound machine and in-house lab. They have designated cat, dog, and isolation wards and are proud to be a Cat Friendly Clinic. The current team consists of 6 Vets, 6 RVNs, and 6 Receptionists. 

The practice is in a seaside town northeast of Edinburgh on Scotland's east coast. It's known for its many golf courses, including the Old Course. It is also known for its historic university, medieval streets, and gorgeous traditional buildings. The town is filled with exciting things to see and do. The practice is located half an hour from Dundee, and less than two hours from Edinburgh & Glasgow.

Skills and Experience:  Must be RCVS Registered. Our Client can consider experienced/newly qualified/ soon to be qualified RVNs for this role as full support and training will be provided. Further certification and career progression can be supported.
