Type of Work: Registered Veterinary Nurse (Maternity cover)

Job Details: Our client in Kent are looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their team on a fixed term contract, covering maternity leave (approximately 6-9 months duration). The clinic has a good surgical and medical caseload, which will enable you to develop your nursing skills fully. You will be supported by a large team of nursing staff including RVNs, SVNs and Patient Care Assistants.

  • Full-time position
  • 40 hours per week
  • 1 in 4 full weekends and an OOH rota covering approximately 1 in 6 weekends

The practice has state-of-the-art equipment, offering a variety of services and in-house comprehensive diagnostic equipment, including digital x-ray, ultrasound, 2 fully-equipped operating theatres (one of which is an orthopaedic theatre), 6 consulting rooms, Platelet-rich plasma therapy, Stem Cell therapy, in-house physiotherapy and Class IV laser therapy. 

Skills and Experience: Previous experience working in a small animal practice is required. This position provides you with the opportunity to develop nursing clinics and use your initiative to promote new ideas. You must be a Veterinary Nurse who is registered with the RCVS.
