Job Details: Are you ready for a new role in a truly fantastic, independently owned, small animal veterinary hospital based in West London?

Our Client offer an exceptional standard of round the clock care, treatment, and facilities (including a brand new CT Scanner!), as well as the routine consultations, health checks and procedures expected at a family vet. Our Client are passionate about pets and animal welfare; they truly believe that pets and their owners deserve to be treated with expertise and compassion.

Their client base has grown significantly since they first opened their doors just a few years ago, and they are delighted that their reputation for the highest standards of care mean that many new pet owners register with them every day!

This is a really exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their highly skilled and friendly team. This is a varied role that would suit someone who enjoys using their initiative and is able to work accurately, to a high standard, ensuring the best care is given to patients and clients.

Responsibilities include Anaesthesia, Inpatient care, Dentistry, Radiography & CT Scanning, Use and maintenance of lab machines, admissions and nurse consult procedures.

Work/Life balance is most important to our client, so this is why they are looking for new members for their team! Their current weekend/on call rota is 1:4 but once fully hired, this will move to 1:6 Saturdays with a Sunday On Call (which is extremely rare to be called out!) Any Out of Hours is usually planned inpatient care and planned well in advance. Overtime is paid generously for this or TOIL can be taken instead.

Skills and Requirements: Our Client are ideally looking for someone with orthopaedic surgical nursing, chemotherapy, endoscopy and capnography nursing experience but are also open to speaking with nurses of all backgrounds including those newly registered. Our Client are also happy to speak with International Veterinary Nurses interested in moving to the UK and can offer Sponsorship for the right person!
