Salary: Up to £25,000, Depending on Experience
Package (Subject to pro rata):
- RCVS & VDS fees paid
- 4 weeks annual leave not including bank holidays increasing with service length

Job Details: An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Veterinary Nurse to join our clients team. They are looking for a good team player who wants to complement their existing team, someone who has an interest in inpatient care, surgery, dentistry, x-rays, clinics, client communication, and the general day to day running of a small animal practice.
You will see a good and varied caseload which will encourage you to utilise your skill set that you have acquired along your career path so far. In return, you will be encouraged and support with CPD and funding for certificates in areas of interest and mutual benefit. No two days are the same here at this practice!
You will work a varied rota with 1:5 weekends, minimal OOHs, allowing for a good work/life balance.
This is a first opinion, small animal practice located in a coastal town with local amenities close by with lovely bars and restaurants.
The practice have digital x-rays, modern ultrasound/ ECG machine, multi parameter, ultrasonic dental machine and many modern equipment sources to assist with inpatient acre.
The teams have taken part in tough mudder and three peak challenges over the years and are a social bunch with a varying age range and varying levels of experience from 20 years + to just qualified, they regularly support their local schools by doing presentations/ school visits when COVID isn't a factor!
This is a team of 13 nursing staff consisting of RVNs, SVNs, VCAs, and aux staff. Nursing staff hold ECC Cert, VNES Cert, NCert AnBeh, Dermatology Cert - RVNs are encouraged to improve in their area of interest and encouraged to implement their skills in practice. Many more of their surgeons are undertaking certificates in Surgery & Medicine. Surgeons also have interests in exotics, dermatology, cardiology, acupuncture and orthopaedic work.
Skills and Requirements: A positive mental attitude towards supporting student nurses in their progression is a must! Clinical coaching is desirable or an interest in becoming one. A willingness to participate in nurse clinic role with an opportunity to lead in this area.
