Job Details:  This Practice have an exciting position available for a proactive, enthusiastic Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their friendly and progressive small animal veterinary practice. The general nursing duties will include theatre work, in patient care, nurse clinics and general housekeeping. The areas of responsibility are shared within the nursing team.This is a full-time, permanent position working Monday to Friday with absolutely no OOH! They will also consider flexible working patterns as well as part time applicants. This clinic is based in a suburban town where they have access to some lovely cafes, restaurants, and parks and with access to some great transport links. They have excellent facilities including digital X-ray, ultrasound, multiparameter monitor, endoscope, laser, a dedicated nurse’s consulting room. They have six Vets, one with a certificate in internal medicine, one with a certificate in cardiology, and a vet who does acupuncture. They currently have two full time Vet Nurses, three part time Vet Nurses and one Student Nurse. They also have seven full time support staff. They are a passionate team and enjoy putting customer care and staff well-being at the top of their priority list and they thrive on customer delight. Overall, they have a very friendly, down-to-earth, supportive team with lovely clients, and they work very closely with the local animal charities. They have a no blame culture and like to discuss cases and constantly aim to improve their protocols. They are looking for a qualified Registered Veterinary Nurse who wants to work as part of a progressive team and who is willing to help build on the nursing services that they offer their clients. They would also consider part time RVN and flexible working pattern requests. It is essential that the candidate will be a team player, proactive, caring, compassionate and passionate about their profession. A good sense of humour would be a bonus.
