Job Details: Our client have an excellent opportunity for a Veterinary Nurse to join their fantastic team in the West Midlands. They care about their team, patients, and clients. They are happy to accept applications from both qualified RVNs and experienced, competent Student Veterinary Nurses! Responsibilities will include all aspects of veterinary nursing, theatre work, consulting, inpatient care, laboratory work, telephone answering, and occasional reception cover. You will work on average around 32 hours per week, Monday-Friday covering varied shifts between 8 am – 7 pm, on a shared rota. Saturdays are 1:4, from 8:30 am to 2 pm. No Sundays, Bank Holidays, on call or out of hours. They are within walking distance of a local park, which is ideal if you bring your dog to work or just to get some fresh air and stretch your legs at lunchtime. Where the clinic is based you can access both city life and the countryside. They are equipped with ultrasound, digital X-ray, endoscope, bronchoscope and full in house Idexx lab machines. They will be purchasing a dental X-ray machine this year and have lots of other plans and ideas for the future. You would be joining fantastic team of registered veterinary nurses, one student veterinary nurse, 2 Animal Care Assistants and a dedicated Clinical Cleaner. Their team are friendly and motivated, and they strongly encourage CPD and self-development. They are looking for an RVN who shares their team values, has a strong work ethic and has the ability to consistently provide excellent patient and client care. A Clinical Coach qualification or interest in training for this would be advantageous, however, this isn’t a deal-breaker as they will accept applications from experienced students close to qualification!
