This practice is seeking enthusiastic Veterinary Nurse to join the team at their RCVS Tier 2 accredited surgery. They are a progressive practice and enjoy an excitingly varied caseload as well as a great flow of clients. They are recognised as one of the largest practices in the North of England which shows in the client base. Their bright, spacious surgery is purpose-built to industry leading standards, with state-of-the-art equipment, including Digital X-ray and Ultrasound. In January they saw a full refurbishment of the practice which included a mezzanine level and colleague room expansion. This refurbishment has allowed for investment in additional equipment such as dental X-ray and a new high spec ultrasound suite. They pride themselves on providing the highest quality of services for their clients, but also high quality to their own colleagues, which is represented in their dedicated office space and colleague rooms.   

They lead a vibrant team of colleagues including 12 Vets, 11 Nurses, 7 VCAs and a supportive client care team. By joining them you will be part of a great team who provide superb standards of client and animal care. They can offer full or part time vacancies, there are no OOH or on call duties and weekends are shared on a 1 in 4 basis with time off in lieu. They can also offer a weekend only contract if this is preferred.


You will need to be a dynamic and proactive Nurse with solid all-round skills. Key to your success in this role will be your ability to embrace all aspects of the veterinary nurse role, including running busy nurse clinics. Due to the nature of the practice, they can accommodate both experienced nurses and recently qualified nurses.
