Job Details: Our client based in yorkshire is looking for a registered veterinary nurse to join their team. They are in an excellent location, close to A1 and M18 and 10 minutes' walk from the train station and bus terminal making commuting easy. You'll be joining a friendly team of 1 Lead Vet and 2 Vets, a Head RVN, 2 nurses, 2 student nurses and 1 veterinary care assistant. With a wide and varied caseload, they can offer a position that guarantees job satisfaction and career development, including nurse clinics and clinical coach opportunities and a generous CPD allowance. They are always happy to look into additional training opportunities for colleagues. Their caseload includes surgical, medical and exotics, and a large amount of  clients are insured. They are a forward thinking practice who encourage RVNs to fully utilise their skills and knowledge. Nurses are also given the opportunity to carry out schedule 3 procedures on a regular basis. 
You'll be working from a purpose built practice with equipment that includes digital X-Ray, In-House lab, endoscopy, ultrasound, multi parameter monitor, separate Dog and Cat wards. In the New Year, they are going to be extending and refurbishing the practice to include additional consult room (5 in total), an additional theatre, a dedicated dental suite, imaging suite and a larger colleague facilities. Plus the whole practice will be getting a facelift!

Their ideal nurse will be proactive with solid all round skills. Key to your success will be your ability to embrace all aspects of the veterinary nurse role, delivering excellent patient and client care. You will be a strong team player and have good communication skills. 
No two days are the same here, and you should enjoy plenty of variety within your role. The role is full time and part time, giving the successful candidate a great work-life balance, with 1 in 4 Saturdays. NO OOH!
