Job Details:  Our Client are looking for an enthusiastic Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their team. The position is ideally 40 hours per week with a 1:6 weekend rota. However, Our Client are flexible and can potentially accommodate a part-time option to fit around childcare or personal pursuits. 

The day begins at 8am and the shift patterns are built around an 8 hour day. You might be on theatre nursing, recovery, kennel nursing, radiography, laboratory work or be involved in active nursing clinics which the hospital provides. 

This is a long-established Veterinary Hospital in a lovely rural market town. There is very easy access to both Oxford and London and the practice is situated in the beautiful Countryside of the Chilterns in the South-East of England. The town has an expanding population of young families and are in the catchment area of several outstanding primary and secondary schools. The practice are recruiting with the aim of maintaining the very high clinical standards already set and giving the rewarding work/life balance expected from the modern RVN. 

Our Client offer a well-experienced and interactive team of lovely vets, nurses, and support staff. As it is a training hospital, you will be encouraged in the training and assistance of SVNs. You will have the ability to further your own clinical interests which will be actively supported.

The Out of Hours care that our client provide will enable anyone with an emergency and critical care interest to be furthering their experience. The hospital provides separate dog/cat wards, isolation facilities, on-site laboratory, digital x-ray, dental x-ray, ultrasound, and endoscopy and enjoys the standards expected from an RCVS Veterinary Hospital.

This is currently a team of 8 Vets over 3 sites, with 5 Vets working from the hospital. Our Client are expanding their Veterinary & Nursing Teams to provide an excellent work/life balance. You will be based at the hospital and be interacting with the whole team, some of whom have been there for many years. They have an active social presence in the area and are currently planning their fund raising charity event for this year.
