Job Details: Our client are currently looking for a Registered Veterinary nurse to join their friendly team in Cheshire. There is a full-time role working a 40 hour week over 4 days and a part-time role working a 20 hour week over 2 days. Both roles require working 1 in 7 weekends which will be paid as overtime. There will be no out of hours required for these roles. Whether on ward, surgery, admitting and discharging patients, nurse clinics or assisting the vets in prep/consult, your day will be challenging but enjoyable! Our client pride themselves on their patient and customer care and supporting the reception team is essential by answering the telephone and assisting with customer queries. They will be looking to re-introduce their nurse clinics soon after lockdown restrictions lift and are looking for someone with new ideas to expand their offering for customers and pets alike. 

This is a friendly, customer service focused practice located in the beautiful Cheshire Countryside. Close to Chester and Liverpool and the M56 motorway, they attract clients from far and wide. They are equipped with digital X-ray, Ultrasound and in house laboratory with Idexx Lasercyte, Catalyst and Snapshot. They are an extremely busy practice with a large client base, with nearly 2,000 pets on their Pet Health club.

Whether on ward, surgery, admitting and discharging patients, nurse clinics or assisting the vets in prep/consult, your day will be challenging but enjoyable!

The practice have 7 vets ( 6 full time and 1 part time) and currently 5 RVN's ( 3 full time and 2 part time) and 2 ANA's(Full time).
They pride themselves on their high standard of patient and client care, and will always try to go that extra mile to help and support other members of the team, clients and patients alike.

Skills and Requirements: The ideal person would be an experienced RVN, preferably from a Small animal background however, they are still open to graduate and less experienced Vet nurse applicants too. Successful applicants should be comfortable with all aspects of veterinary nursing, you must also be confident dealing with clients on a regular basis. Our client are looking for someone with a passion for patient and client care, who can multitask with ease and is flexible in day to day responsibilities.
