Job Details: We have an exciting opportunity for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our clients friendly and hardworking team. Your role as an RVN will include all aspects of first opinion nursing including, but not limited too; monitoring of anaesthetics, Nursing sick animals, administering medication, taking x-rays and carrying out diagnostic tests, nurse clinics, and you will regularly be able to use your schedule 3 skills. Your role will be a varied one and you will work/assist in all areas of the practice.

The rota is 5 days per week working shifts of 08:30 - 16:30 or 10:30 - 18:30. 9 weekends per year (saturdays only) and 1:7 weeknights on call with 3 weekends on call per year. 

You will have access to onsite digital x-ray, endoscopy, ultrasound, blood pressure and ECG.

Our client see a varied caseload and no two days are the same! They see a mixture of routine, first opinion and emergency cases. They are lucky to have a really fantastic growing client base.

They have a fantastic team of 4 Vets and 6 nurses who are supported by a team of five experienced Receptionists and administrators. As a team they all work really well together and are always keen to support each other!

Skills and Requirements: The ideal person will be committed, enthusiastic, and hard-working. The successful person must be a registered and qualified Veterinary Nurse who is a proactive team player and who will deliver a high standard of veterinary nursing care.
