Type of Work: Small Animal Vet Surgeon

Job Details: This is one of the few inner suburbs privately owned small animal vet clinics left, situated approximately ten kilometres from the heart of Adelaide. They are seeking preferably a full-time veterinarian but are open to discussing part time options with the right candidate. This clinic are currently a two-vet practice with an amazing reputation which they intend to uphold. The person who takes this position will be able to have full continuity with clients from consult through to surgery, recovery, and revisits; this being one of clients most important requests. You will have the opportunity to develop your own client base over time. 

Is this clinic purpose built? No. Has it won architectural awards? No. Is it pretty? Depends on who you are asking. It is, however, very functional and holds everything you need and is a fun place to work. As they are privately owned the buck stops here, therefore if you have a great idea, they will implement it. If you have a special interest, the team will encourage you.

Some of the options available to clients include:

  • The latest digital X-ray and dental X-ray.
  • Stem cell treatment.
  • Laser therapy.
  • All soft tissue surgery.
  • Fracture repair and other minor orthopaedics.
  • Ultrasound.

They are a small but busy clinic who love to get to know their clients and staff. They will encourage a good working relationship and a good laugh at times to encourage this.   • 4 day weekly rota
