Job Details: Our client is looking for a keen and ambitious vet to join them. They pride themselves on offering the very highest clinical standards by employing the very best colleagues and encouraging a culture of progression and continued professional development.

You will be joining a team totalling 31 across the 3 sites - 7 veterinary surgeons (including JVP's), 2 head nurses, 1 senior nurse, 5 nurses, 3 student nurses, 4 VCA's, 8 receptionists and 1 practice manager. All colleagues work closely together to provide a supportive environment for patients, clients and colleagues alike. You will occasionally be asked to work at other practices, but plenty of notice will be given beforehand.

The practice is extremely well equipped with state of the art equipment including digital x-ray imaging machine, anaesthesia machines, dental equipment, ultrasound, laboratory equipment, microscope, stethoscope, IV pumps, endoscopy, centrifuge, capnography, blood pressure machine, diathermy machine, lap spay and orthopaedic equipment. The team see a wide variety of cases and have a growing number of insured clients allowing cases to be thoroughly investigated and worked up to a high standard. The caseloads include advanced orthopaedic and soft tissue surgical referrals.

Due to the experience in the team they can consider new or recent graduates, as well as experienced vets looking for an exciting new challenge. You should ideally be confident to medically and surgically assess and treat patients, providing the best patient care and customer service in a professional and caring way. You should also be able to demonstrate effective time management, planning and organization skills, anticipating challenges and adapting easily to change.


  • Full time position (40 hours per week) 
  • 1 in 4 weekend rota.
