Job Details: Our client in Essex are looking for a vet surgeon to join their team. By joining their professional, personable team in the practice, you’ll deliver exceptional care by going beyond consulting to listen and empathising, putting patients and clients first, always.
As qualified MRCVS, you’ll already have good experience gained in small animal practice. They are looking for an individual with the right attitude and a dedicated Team Player. Full support from our amazing Lead vet and skilled team of nurses. You will also display good communication skills and the desire to share your knowledge and skills by being an outstanding, positive example to others.
The hospital has a CT scan on site, a dedicated ultrasonographer and night teams, ensuring continuity of care for all inpatients. They also have an ambulance service in the region, to ensure smooth and timely transfer of all patients requiring hospitalisation at the main hospital, though the OOH cover will still be local.
Skills and Experience: The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1-2 years’ UK small animal practice (or UK equivalent) experience and be confident in their recommendations. They collaborate between all the branches so you are supported whether sole charge or in one of the larger branches. You must be pet and client-centric and have excellent communication skills, competent in spays and castrates.
