Salary: £40,000-£55,000 DOE

Job Details: Full Time Veterinary Surgeon or Part Time (by discussion) required to join a busy practice in Hampshire. This is a rare opportunity to join a successful business with partnership opportunity for the right individual. The practice value work-life balance with no on-call, no Sundays, no bank holiday working, 5 weeks annual leave and lieu time for overtime. The current 4 vet team have a high level of soft tissue and orthopaedic experience, a CertAVP in ophthalmology and a vet undertaking a medicine certificate. They have 7 listed VNs and a very experienced support team. The surgery has the normal equipment list with new internal Idexx blood machines, digital x ray, a new ultrasound and video endoscope. There is a basic orthopaedic kit. They also have an extended ophthalmology kit including slit lamp, tonopen, algerbrush, corneal and eyelid kits and a cryopen. The kit evolves as our interests grow. CPD is fully supported and anyone with an interest in doing a certificate will be fully funded. Only see canine and feline cases they do not see exotics. Looking for an experienced veterinary surgeon to grow their team. Sole charge is rare, occasional evenings and the Saturday morning shift. The successful candidate will either be a UK permanent resident or have pre-settled/settled status and 12 months or more experience working in the UK with strong English language skills.
