Job Details: Our client is looking for a veterinary surgeon to join their team. They are a dedicated, kind team that work hard to establish solid bonds with their clients and their pets, continually striving to provide a consistent caring service, no matter what challenges they face. They understand and demonstrate that through regular structured team and department communications, where your voice will be heard, they will evolve and develop together as a team supporting each other.
With the added attraction of no OOH and no Sundays, this position can be flexed around what is important to you, working patterns are mouldable, be it around childcare, study, certificate time or wellbeing, they acknowledge and respect everyone is individual and their needs will vary, whilst all focusing on the common bond of providing the very best clinical care they can.
As a balanced quality of life for their colleagues is important they benefit from being ideally located in Middlesbrough, with excellent transport links and the diversity of having both the facilities of a vibrant City as well as rural and beach life on the door step.
The Practice is well established and flourishing with a wide variety of interesting medical and surgical cases. They have the usual day to day diagnostics such as otoscope, ophthalmoscope, tonometer, microscopy, glucometer, and in addition to this digital radiography, in house catalyst, lasercyte & sedivue, ultrasound and a good range of orthopedic equipment primarily for fracture fixation. Your working day will also have time built in for admin and also client prescriptions, time that is often missed off from traditional ways of working, but paramount in being part of what is needed to provide the clinical care and service that is needed by today’s clients.
A high proportion of their clients are insured, and they also offer financial assistance via Klarna as well as having a PDSA local to eligible clients. They are also spoilt with 3 world class referral centers within an hour’s drive for their clients giving them the choices they may need, all with whom they have and excellent rapport.
They work hard to progress with the times, embracing and adapting to the daily challenges they face whilst maintaining their competitiveness in the Veterinary Marketplace.
