Type of Work: Small Animal / Equine Vet Surgeon

Job Details: The practice is a unique 3-doctors facility with an open concept, centred around a state-of-the-art surgery suite established in 2013. The practice is situated a short 5min drive South of Bedford, Nova Scotia.

They have a special focus on orthopaedic and ultrasounds services. Viewing windows allow clients to see from the front door to the back door. They also facilitate an environment of collaboration and transparency, and provide their clients with a sense of reassurance that their precious pets will receive excellent care. The Hospital is an AAFP Cat friendly practice, Silver level certified by the American association of feline practitioners. They are seeking an enthusiastic Associate Veterinarian to join their team of skilled and passionate staff.

What you'll need to succeed:

  • Licensed (or eligibility) to practice veterinary medicine in Nova Scotia
  • Passion for what you do every day
  • Keen interest and/or experience in orthopaedic surgery
  • Enthusiasm, energy and a positive attitude are a must
  • A strong desire to educate and build solid relationships with clients
  • Excellent communication skills, both when dealing with clients and team members
