Are you an Australian working in the UK ? This privately owned group of six clinics in beautiful Victoria seek experienced small animal Australian veterinarians interested in relocation back to Australia to enjoy our coastal lifestyle and relatively Covid-19 free existence.  Perhaps it’s time to come home for you ?

  • Approximately 1hr 30mins from Melbourne
  • Lovely area, coastal, great for those who like to surf or love the seaside
  • Covid-free area
  • Varied caseload that can support any interests
  • Happy to help with searching for initial accommodation
  • Family orientated clinic & all the directors work in the practices
  • Would take 2 vets or a couple - could be suitable for a couple wanting to relocate or move areas
  • 9 hour shifts with a half hour break 
  • A/H rota is 1 night per week & generally 1 weekend in 4/5. Calls are screened by an OOH provider & only called if necessary

To be successful in this role you will be:

  • Minimum 3 years experience in small animal practice
  • Open to applications from 3 years experience up to senior veterinarians, you could either slot right in as an Associate Veterinarian or you may have aspirations for team leadership and working with our younger team members
  • The right to live in Australia and the right to practice in Victoria (or the right to apply to renew the same)
  • A commitment to keeping continuing education and development
  • A desire and ability to work as part of a cohesive team and family culture delivering services to a strong local rural & seaside communities
  • Well developed routine surgical skills including desexing and soft tissue surgery including neoplastic lump removals and wound sutures will be standard and more advanced surgical skills including laparotomy, cruciate repairs and orthopaedics will be well regarded. 
  • Special interests in other areas of practice such as imaging, medicine, pathology etc can also contribute to your selection
