Job Details: Our client are looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their amazing team of 6 Registered Veterinary Nurse and 2 Student Veterinary Nurses in West Sussex.

The weekly rota consists of a 4 day week working 37.5 hours, 1:6 weekends and 1:6 Saturday mornings with no OOHs. Day to day duties would incorporate all areas of primary care nursing including theatre, in-patient care, lab and nurse clinics.

The ideal person would be highly motivated, works well in a team whilst also confident when working independently and thrive in a busy, active environment.

They are a busy, small animal practice with good transport links to London and Brighton. They are lucky enough to have a beautiful forest on their doorstep providing a great place for walking and enjoying spectacular views.

The practice have a varied caseload ranging from routine surgery to orthopaedics and are well equipped with an internal lab, multi-parameter, ultrasound, digital x-ray, K-Laser and multiple endoscopes. This is a well established training practice who encourage their nurses to train as Clinical Coaches to assist their student nurses in reaching their full potential.

They have a friendly team of 5 vets including 2 surgical certificate holders and 8 nurses, some of which can often be found trying their hand at an escape room, partaking in quiz nights and enjoying a summer BBQ! They have a truly encouraging and supportive culture and as a result have a close-knit team.

Skills and Requirements: Our vacancy is for an experienced or newly qualified Veterinary Nurse who is competent and confident across all areas of primary care nursing. We are looking for someone who is passionate about maintaining a high level of patient care with excellent bedside manner. CPD is supported and encouraged to ensure all our of staff have the opportunity to reach their full potential.
