Job Details: An exciting opportunity has become available for a Registered Veterinary nurse at our clients practice! They cover all aspects of small animal and exotic Veterinary care and day to day Nurse duties will include: monitoring anaesthetics, assisting Vets, running in house diagnostics, X-rays and supporting customers. They encourage their Nurses to make the role their own, supporting training and new ways of thinking, with opportunities to run Nurse clinics/CPD evenings and open days if this is something that interests you.

Working at this practice, you will have the opportunity to work with visiting imaging and endoscopy specialists. They offer laparoscopic procedures in house and offer full training in the set up and monitoring of procedures. In your position you will have the responsibility of looking after the bloods machine with monthly maintenance and monitoring.

They have both full time and part time opportunities available. Working a mixture of early and late shifts between; 8:30am -7:00pm Monday to Friday and Saturdays 8:30am-13.00pm on a rota system. No out of hours work.

The practice have 2 very experienced fulltime Vets with a wealth of knowledge in small animal and exotic care. Their clinic is large, roomy and has recently been refurbished. They offer large kennel area, theatre and Prep room and a dedicated animal exercise area. The practice have a fantastic, friendly, well established customer base who will make you feel right at home.

No two days are ever the same for a Veterinary Nurse, they have plenty of exciting opportunities to expand your knowledge and learn something new. This is a great opportunity to join an experienced, fun loving team, who are helpful friendly and supportive. As a team they like to get together for social events as often as they can! They have an annual charity dog show as well as getting involved with local charities. Similarly, they fully support all employees with any charity fundraising they take part in. They love to have fun and explore new opportunities to bring the team together.

Skills and Requirements: The ideal person will be a hardworking, fun-loving Registered Veterinary Nurse, who likes to be a real team player. Our client would like you to take this role and make it your own, bringing new fresh ideas to the team. A positive can-do attitude and excellent bedside manner is a must here at this practice.
